Background

For many years we had links to similar projects in other countries, including Denmark, Germany, Hungary, N Ireland, Italy and England. We undertook joint projects and workshops and visited one another. These are photographs of one such visit by a number of european projects.

Once again the wall drama was performed to show the barriers that women experience to education, training and work.  This was a theme that every project experienced. What was evident was that the overseas projects had less money but better facilities of childcare, etc. This visit included a night at the Heritage Centre when participants of various courses got their certificates
